'Invisible Hand' Gives Dinesh D'Souza The Finger: What Happened Next

Convicted felon, adulterer, pathological liar and right-wing shill Dinesh D'Souza has spent years preaching the virtues of the 'free market' and its 'invisible hand'. The fact that D'Souza and his ilk either failed to read Adam Smith (who coined the term 'invisible hand') or read Smith but failed to understand him is par for the RWNJ-course (hint: 'invisible hand' doesn't mean what you GOP assholes think it means).

More telling is how D'Souza and his shrinking circle of loony supporters react when their beloved 'invisible hand' tells them to 'fuck off, already'.

When Costco pulled copies of D'Souza's new screed America: Imagine a World Without Her, prominent literary critics like, erm...Rush Limbaugh were outraged. According to Limpballs:

...Costco co-founder Jim Sinegal, “a major, major Obama groupie,” pulled the book because he “is just a liberal protecting the man he loves in the White House.”

“Here’s the thing about these people,” Limbaugh continued. “They are scared to death of any opposition. They simply don’t want to deal with it. They call themselves tolerant. They call themselves open-minded and all this stuff. They’re the most closed-minded, bigoted people you can find and they’re scared to death of anything that’s contrary to what they believe.”

However, according to Costco:

Costco is not a book store. Our book shelf space is very limited. We exercise discipline in the best utilization of that limited space based solely on what our members are buying.

In other words, our old pal 'the invisible hand of the market' decided. It gets even better (or worse, depending on your viewpoint): D'Souza is now attempting to bully Google.

On Monday, D’Souza’s lawyers also sent a letter to Google demanding to know why searches for 'America' are not being directed properly.

Yup. Those pinko fucksticks at google directed people to America the continent, the band, the country...and D'Souza's rancid little flick (the film of the book, God help us) came a pitiful fourth (cue: sad trombone).

Seriously, Dinesh: why do you hate the Free Market? Why do you hate America? Why are you exactly like Hitler?*
